Before the year 2000, machinable plastic materials were in their embryo stages of development. With little or no trepidation, Technical Products, Inc. accepted the challenges brought on by each new material. Over time, we have become highly skilled at determining how to machine Vespel®, Delrin®, Torlon®, PEEK®, Ryton®, UHMW®, G-10 and others in the most efficient ways. Our highly skilled machinists along with our cutting edge technology allow us to machine extremely intricate parts while holding tolerances up to .0002". We are capable of drilling hole patterns in arrays up to 50 x 50 with hole sizes down to .0039" diameter with .0005" tolerances and a true position tolerance of .001" non-accumulative. We use these skills to produce socket assemblies, alignment plates, insulators and more in materials such as Macor®, Boron Nitride, Lava, Aluminum Nitride and all high end plastics.

The world of high technology requires increasing skills in the area of hard ceramic materials. Technical Products, Inc. is proud of its accomplishments in this arena. We are able to produce threaded parts made from Alumina, Zirconia, and Silicon Carbide.

Because we recognize the urgency our customers often face in their own production schedules, we stock many materials in order to reduce our production time. We keep an extensive inventory of alumina substrates ready for immediate delivery. We have high fire kilns on sight which further speeds up our process. We are dedicated to maintaining a state-of-the-art shop which allows our machinists to produce at their highest skill levels reducing human and machine error.

Along with advancements in materials, our industry benefits from the improvements in CAD/CAM software. Our training program at Technical Products, Inc. assures that our apprentice machinists as well as our journeyman machinists keep abreast of all available computer programs.
