- Macor allows fast turn around-no post firing required
- Macor holds tight tolerances, up to .0005"
- Macor withstands high temperatures, up to 1000 ºC (no load)
- Macor is clean, has no outgassing and has zero porosity
- Macor can be joined or sealed to itself or to other materials. Its configurations are limitless. It is an excellent high voltage insulator.
Some applications include ultra-high vacuum environments, nuclear and medical environments, constant vacuum environments.
Machinable Alumina Silicate L911A (Lava)

- Alumina Silicate is machinable in an unfired state and used in applications up to 1000 ºF
- After firing, parts are as hard as carbide & usable up to 2100 ºF
- Alumina Silicate has low thermal expansion

- Alumina Silicate is available in a wide range of stock up to 12" in diameter
Some applications include prototype hardware, insulators, bushings, soldering fixtures, nozzles, welding tips, etc.
Alumina Oxide 85% to 99.9%

- Alumina Oxide has excellent thermal, electrical and mechanical properties
- Alumina Oxide has high strength and is wear and abrasive resistant
- Alumina Oxide is gas tight
- Alumina Oxide can be metalized

Boron Nitride (BN)
- Boron Nitride material specs
- Boron Nitride has high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion
- Boron Nitride has good thermal shock resistance
- Boron Nitride has high electrical resistance
- Boron Nitride has low dielectric constant
- Boron Nitride is non toxic
Some applications include microwave components, electronic parts, semiconductor, prototypes, high temperature furnace fixtures, and supports, etc.
Glass Bonded Mica (Mycalex)

- Mica (Mycalex) is a ceramoplastic material
- Mica has no post-firing
- Mica can be easily machined with complete, long term dimensional stability
- Mica has excellent thermal, electrical and mechanical properties
- Mica is a stone-like, dense, inorganic material formed by combining high heat and extreme pressure
Some applications include microwave components, coil forms, induction heating forms, connectors and feed-thru insulators, heater terminals, arc-barriers, vacuum components, cryogenic-insulator.
